Gołdap is a city with unique natural and climatic values with the purest air in the region. We inform tourist who plan to come to Gołdap for the weekend, that three days is certainly not enough. It is the only town in the region, which holds the status of a mud treatment climatic resort with a Health Resort Promenade, a mineral water drinking room and graduation towers.
While relaxing and staying around the graduation towers, we treat ailments of: the upper respiratory tract, throat, sinuses, allergies, hypertension and emphysema. We improve our well-being by reducing stress, neurosis or depression. It is no coincidence that no one has fallen ill in the Gołdap district since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the Gołdap district is the only green area on the map of Poland without infections.
Around the graduation towers, kids will find an intergenerational well-equipped playground with a mini-golf area, walking and cycling paths and strength training equipment located on the shores of the lake. There is a sanatorium with a modern health resort infrastructure near the Masurian brine graduation towers.
Gołdap’s rich offer is also provided by a kind of “hunchback” terrain, contributing to the name of this part of the region – “Mazury Garbate” (Hunchback Mazury in English). Piękna Góra is a hill near Gołdap, where you can feel as if you were in a fairy tale getting to know the attractions of the tourist complex Rudziewicz Piękna Góra.
To name a few there is a rope park, bowling alley or a rotating cafe where you can taste regional cuisine. During winter, for those who appreciate winter fun on the slopes, there are ski slopes for skiers and snowboarders.
Near Gołdap at the foot of Tatarska Góra (308 m above sea level) there is an unusual site, worth seeing, which will definitely appeal to young naturalists – Masurian safari.
On an approx. 300 ha of fenced land, in a beautiful green area, crossed by numerous water hills, you will see herds of fallow deer, European deer, mouflons, wild barbary sheep, llamas and even zebras and camels.
